Our Yearly Service Agreement includes basic maintenance of your site: weekly backups of your valuable site content, and regular script updates, important for your website’s security and smooth functioning.
Maintenance is technical upkeep. A dynamic website – one which runs on a database and PHP scripts, as WordPress sites do – requires that certain tasks be performed on a regular basis.
Backups need to be made, so that if there were ever a major problem that caused your files or database to be lost or corrupted, the website could be restored. We will personally ensure that your files are backed up weekly.
Script Updates: Scripts, especially the amazing, constantly-improving WordPress, need to be updated; these updates provide important improvements to the script’s functionality and security. We will be sure to update your WordPress installation each time there is a new version available.
All of this is covered by your yearly web hosting fee.
If you would like us to change or make additions to the website itself, we will bill you in our standard manner at $70/hour for that additional time.
