I’m Patty Ayers, owner of AyersVirtual. I live and work in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and I’ve been producing websites professionally for over 12 years.
In that time I’ve served over 80 clients and produced more than 65 new custom web sites. Please see my portfolio for some examples of my work. I do the web design and coding myself, sometimes working with subcontractors.
I love my work! It’s both technical and creative, and I get to work with lots of interesting small business owners. And I’m always learning.
In addition to my client work, I have volunteered with web design software companies Macromedia and Adobe as a Community Expert, answering questions and providing advice on online forums to users of Dreamweaver, the industry’s leading web development software.
I co-authored a best-selling web design book in 2002, entitled Inside Dreamweaver MX, produced by New Riders Publishing.
In 2003, I created a set of business forms and contracts tailored specifically for web designers and web design companies which has sold over 3,000 copies in seven years, and continue to be popular.
In addition to my web development work, I offer my services as a Virtual Assistant to a small number of clients.
When I’m not in the office, I love to walk and ride my bike, study Spanish (I recently spent a year and a half in Mexico) and play music (I play keyboards with an R&B band).
